Today I have the flu. This is not so fun. Would like prayer for healing. Have received some but need more. So if you are reading this, please pray for me. I very much dislike being ill and out of commission. More like out of service. hah.
I am in week two of my training for the Pais Project! For those of you who don't know what that is it is an apprenticeship that makes missionaries. This is my first year. Some have been doing it for several. I am placed in England. Specifically the north in an area called Clitheroe. Right now I am in Burnley for the training. Clitheroe is half an hour away. So next week this time I will be going into schools and doing presentations on a variety of topics about being a Christian and what I believe. Very exciting. :D
I will be staying in a house with 5 other people. We will be working out of a venue called The Grand which is a concert/recording studio venue that puts on all different types of shows. Secular and Christian events. Check out the website to find out more. http://www.thegrandvenue.co.uk/
So yeah, just have been making friends, gaining some great knowledge from God's Word and preparing my heart for the people I am going to meet in my placement. :D
This country is great. We hope to make Great Britain even GREATER. We can only go up from here!
